Always learn about yourself
One of the things Jim Iyke shared in his conversation #WithChude is the importance of constantly learning about yourself and your pattern.
Here is what he said:
It is never too late to learn about yourself. It is a learning process, a process of evolution. I thought I knew a lot about myself, I let myself be open to learning more. I ascend higher grounds with people that know more. I allow into my small communities mentors that have lived a certain lifestyle that are far more experienced than me. It has nothing to do with age, there are mentors that I am older than.
I understand my pattern. I understand how to apply it in every generation. I understand when to demand it. It is an equation that has to be fostered by yourself because you understand yourself.
The mistake people make is that they allow people create their pattern for them and they try to infuse themselves in it, then you find yourself struggling for the result. I understand my pattern because I have tested it by trial and error over a decade. I am an expert of my brand because I have understood it by living it. I am a self expert.
Other times, I was busy studying other successful people's pattern. But then I understood that the individuality and flair that fostered other people's success is not mine.
