Feedback Friday: "I can be both teacher and student fully"
Fellow traveler,
I am happy to read all the emails you send about how this newsletter is being a blessing to you. I’ll take two of those and share with you today.
Keep them coming.
In response to: “Don’t rely on anyone to validate what you believe in”
This really spoke to me.
I just read it at work and was just mentally strengthened to continue doing what I know how to do best.
Thank you for your newsletters, they've been a blessing to me.

In response to: Retreat
Thank you for this, Chude.
I find that I’m always dancing between the seat of teacher and student. I’m constantly learning and I know I will till the end of my days.
I love learning and I’m often eager to share what I know and what I’m discovering in life but then I find myself retreating because I don’t want people to put me on a pedestal and I think sometimes because I’m afraid of them also realizing that I’m still learning.
Reading this makes me accept that I can be both teacher and student fully. I don’t have to be one. In fact, my thriving as a teacher will be fueled by my being a great student and the more I teach, the more I have to go back and learn.
So I’ll teach as I learn and learn as I teach too. I will embrace both fully.
Thank you for sharing again, Chude.

Quote for the day: “Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention.” — Francis Bacon
