This is the last edition of The Joy List in 2021. I’ll be back next week - that’s the first weekend in 2022 - with another edition of this newsletter.
The year 2021 has been an interesting year. One with lots of lessons I may write about in a few weeks. One of those lessons is this: Learn to build on the experiences of others. You don’t have to experience some things before you learn from them. Even some of the best artists and inventors built their works on the back of dozens of the previous breakthroughs, none of which seemed meaningful in their own right.
The second I’m still learning is to resist the urge to overachieve during this holiday.
It’s my hope you also find time to rest this season.
