When when I was coming up in teenage church amongst Jehovah El- Shaddai and the others, and we coined one called Jehovah El-Effizzy. The God of all effects!
You know, as I was hearing Ezinne’s story, that’s all I could think about. Whether you believe in a personal God or not, there are times when you know that there are forces beyond you that are holding you, that are carrying you, that are keeping you.
There is a sense of wonder and awe and transcendence when we know that there is something, maybe someone, maybe not someone as we know it... that has, that holds and does things that we can’t do by ourselves. Once in a while, we hear a story that is bigger than ourselves, and we remember that truth.
I heard today, a story bigger than myself. A story bigger than all of us, bigger than anything we could have created with our hands. And it’s just a reminder that there is something bigger than us and every once in a while, we can encounter it and encounter, this force, this God!
And the force can show up for us.

Quote for the day: Through different eras and bodies of knowledge (Religion, Enlightenment, Intersectionality, etc), the universe has been communicating the same basic truths for those who will hear.
