You can't afford to stay down
The comedienne, Princess, is our guest this week on #WithChude.
One of the powerful lessons she shared was about getting up when you fall. Sharing from her recent experience, she said:
I'm not doing as much comedy as I will like to do, and that's mainly my fault.
That’s because when you fall, you have to get up. When I fell, I did not get up; And when I finally got up, the train has moved.
I now tell people that even if you don't like me, you should still use my life as an example to remind yourself that you can't afford to stay down. You have to get up. Because if you stay down, where you are, you might not just survive it.
...When you are down, pray to God to give you strength and get up. If not, getting up might be very difficult.

Quote for the day: You can either face your pain now / mindfully, consciously / or face it or later, without your ability to shape its outcome.
Two more for the road:
Given the choice between love and peace? I would choose peace everytime. And isn’t peace the ultimate result of loving yourself?
