What I learnt from my interview with Reuben Abati is that Power is Transient. And it never ceases to amaze me how often, quickly, and regularly people forget this lesson. In my work, the companies that I run across Africa, I have met and worked with presidents and senators and MDs and celebrities, and I’m always amazed at how they — we — forget that this thing [power] passes.
